What to do in Nagaland besides Hornbill?

A comment by a traveller in The Naga Blog on what to do when in Kohima made me think all day and maybe come up with a not so offbeat itinerary for tourists to enjoy their time here without keeping Hornbill in mind.
Day 1 Kohima is a beautiful hill city which most visitors like to explore walking and I would recommend cycling to those who have stamina. You can explore Kohima and the mountains around the capital in our own indigenous built bamboo mountain bike which has even toured the world from GO Travels | Yakuza Solo. Ride up to one of the largest village in Asia, Kohima Village in a bamboo bike!
Get recharged at any one of the famous cafes around town area from Ozone, Dream cafe, Arora, Planet Earth etc Then go visit the World War II Memorial where one of the greatest battles in World war II took place. If you still have stamina then ride up to Aradura Hill and enjoy the scenic view of Kohima from the cathedral viewpoint. Then end the day at Heritage DC bungalow with coffee and jog/run with the local fitness enthusiasts at the heritage circle.

Day 2 Go hit the grand mount Puliebadze which stands tall beneath the white chunk of clouds and can be seen from all corners of the capital. On the way up, I recommend grabbing the mouth watering picnic packed meals of Fat Fryday from D-Cafe or momos/spring rolls from Big Bite or FOOD, jail colony! You can take the MTB's with a cycle carrier on a SUV, climb up the mountain, enjoy your snacks and bring back your garbage down with you and throw it in the dust bins near the morung parking area. Take out the bamboo bikes and enjoy a downhill ride till the city.

Day 3 Ride up the mystical mountains of southern angami areas and visit the beautiful villages from Jakhama, Phesama, Viswema, Kisama etc Picnic in one of the hills and ride back down to Kohima. Kisama is where the heritage village lies. The Hill above the heritage village offers a good trek and a cool view. The portal to get to this hilltop is not known to many though.

Day 4 If you have stamina and energy then hit dzukou valley. For the adventurous bunch, you can even mountain bike your way to Dzukou and return the same day. Else plan to stay back in one of the many caves in the valley and yes bring back your garbage with you.

Day 5 Visit the famous Khonoma village, the great village which resisted the foreign invasion of bullets and canons with their raw strength and might. Enjoy the Green Village, the serenity and prestinely scenic western angami village.
Day 6 Go further to my favourite village - Dzuleke, where the tiny hamlet allows you to enjoy solitude, far from the madding crowd.
